In this video I pursue my long held fascination with the ghostly side of infrared photography. In the past I have used film cameras to achieve this, this time I use my Sony A6400 paired with a sixty year old (at least) East German lens and an infrared filter to produce some ghostly images from Ossington Estate a few miles from my home. Landscape Photography Dunnottar Castle Scotland
Ok, its time for this weeks Youtube video, something to hopefully cheer you up on a very wet miserable day! This was my second video shot up in the North East of Scotland. Dunnottar Castle is a magnificent imposing structure on the rocky coastline and was an image taken in Infrared by Simon Marsden in his book "The Journal of a Ghost Hunter". I hope you enjoy my film and digital attempts and if you enjoy the channel and content please subscribe. See you for another one soon!
Infrared Film Photography
My latest Youtube video is now live. I really had fun making this one. I shoot film, yes after only ever shooting film as a youngster for holiday snaps I take the leap back in time and try to recreate infrared images in the style of the late great Simon Marsden. I am really happy with one images that may show signs that I can actually get to grips with this new/old technique. Take a look at tell me what you think and as always subscribe if you haven't!
