How to Photograph Bats with the kit you already have!
Bat photography is quite specialized. After all they are small and fast with an erratic flight, oh and they come out in the dark. It is important to note that you cannot photograph bats near a roost using flash. The bats in this video fly through our gardens nightly for a brief amount of time. The roost is located in a different part of the village. To photograph at or near a roost see the guidelines provided on the Natural England website. After discovering I had some pipistrelles flying over my back garden I thought it would be fun to see if I could get an image using my camera, flash, cable release and tripod. This is how I got on.
Man Vs Badger (this one almost broke me!)
This video took so much work with a subject that over the years has never caused me a problem. This time for what ever reason I just could not get the badgers to come out of the sett before dark, at least not where I expected them too. I did get there in the end…sort of!
Macro photography with the Sony 90mm F2.8 Macro lens
After looking at budget methods to get into macro photography I decided it was high time I gave my new macro lens a proper outing. In this video I use the lens exclusively on its own and then with a extension tubes to see if I can get images greater than one to one size. I finish off by using the lens with a flash and diffuser. Is this lens a stellar macro performer? Watch and find out.

This time i show you how to get into the facinating world of macro photography on a budget. As always if you enjoy the video please give it a like and subscribe to the channel.
How to Photograph Wild Barn Owls
This week I attempt to photograph wild barn owls. This video is actually the accumulation of at least ten sessions at the same site. The owls here have been very erratic making it difficult to anticipate there movements and figure out the best time to catch them out hunting. Find out how I get on in this weeks barn owl video.
