After ten days of chasing some barn owl images from a perfect location with a barn owl in residence (or so I thought!) I had no results to show for it. You make feel like trading in your gear and taking up darts but in this video I show you what I do to reset my wildlife photography and hopefully to come back with stronger images in the future. This time I head to Bleaklow in the Derbyshire Peal district with no clear plan but knowing there is likely to be Curlew, Mountain hare, Merlin and yes perhaps even Short-eared owl in residence. Join me to see how I get on and how one good day can make all the failure worth while. Follow the channel for UK wildlife and Nature
So You Want To Be A Wildlife Photographer Part 4
In the last part of this mini series I take my budget setup of a Nikon D3200 and Tamron 70-300 lens away from shooting birds/animals around the garden and out into my local area. Hopefully this video demonstrates that even with an entry level setup (remember this cost me £300) You can still begin to enjoy wildlife photography and take some stunning images. Please comment and let me know what you think.
Bird Photography RSPB Langford Lowfields
My latest Youtube video is up and running. This week I head Langford Lowfields for some birds in flight shots. One of those days where you battle the weather but the results of sticking at it make it all worthwhile. Hope you enjoy it and as always give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you haven't.
Bird Photography - Besthorpe Nature Reserve
This week I head across the river in search of cuckoo and although I don’t get any luck on this occasion I still come bac with some interesting images and film.
Red Kites, From this to this in One Week!
This weeks Youtube video is now live. After getting very excited about seeing a group of red kites very close to where I live, I ended up taking some pretty average images for last weeks video. This week find out how I got from mediocre to magic in one week. As always please like and subscribe. Have a great week!
So You Want To Be A Wildlife Photographer Part 2
This weeks Youtube video is now live. This is the second in my series called So you want to be a Wildlife Photographer. This week I take a closer look at setting up a bird feeding station at home and start to take some images with my entry level setup of Nikon D3200 and Tamron 70-300 lens. As always like and subscribe to follow along with the series.
