This weeks video is now live on Youtube. I do some final testing with my Sigma 100-400 for wild bird photography and come up with a reason to buy more kit. Now you knew that was going to happen didn't you!! Seriously I love this lens but as is always my mantra I don't like to pursue any image if it has a detrimental affect on the wildlife. And all right so that may also involve more kit... what can I say!!😉 As always please like, share and subscribe and hopefully I'll get to that 1000 barrier before Christmas!
Wild Birds - Whats in Your local area?
In this weeks video I decide to produce a survey of my local area to see what bird species may be available to me to photograph. I have always been a proponent of utilising your local area . Not only does this save travel time but you can become the local expert of your area wherever that may be. In this video I identify the habitats I have and the potential bird species I can get. Please like and subscribe to my youtube channel! See you next week.
Photographing Wild Birds
This weeks Youtube video is now live. This week I start on a little bit of a journey to try and master bird photography. As a wildlife photographer for over fifteen years this is an area I have very much neglected and an area I am desperate to improve in. So for this first episode I look at my current kit and probably chase some tricky birds around! Please like, subscribe and share.👍
Lock-Down Photography
In these difficult times I use my daily exercise walk to try and capture an image from around my local area, oh and because the dog would complain if I didn’t use my one allowed exercise session to include walking her, she comes along too!
Five Wildlife Photography Tips
My new video is now live on Youtube. After a particularly hard week for photography culminating in a six hour blizzard strewn session on Bleaklow in Derbyshire , I put together five tips that I think will help any budding wildlife photographer and realise it’s actually Ok to fail now and then!
Weardale Waterfalls
My latest video is now live on Youtube. This week I headed up To Weardale in the Durham Dales. I headed for a small valley with a burn and multiple waterfalls. In fact so much to do I'm going to have to go back. As always please like and subscribe to the channel. Thanks!!
