Wild Bird Photography with the Sony A6400 and Tamron 150-600 G2

This weeks video is now live on Youtube. This week I use my Sony A6400 (a very tiny mirrorless camera) with the Tamron 150-600 G2 (a very big lens) for some wild bird photography at one of my new winter feeding stations. A bit of a review of how it worked and hopefully some encouraging signs of good images in the months to come. As always like the video if you did and subscribe if you haven't. See you next week!

Using Old Vintage Lenses on Modern Digital Cameras

My new video is now live on Youtube. In this weeks episode I look at using old vintage lenses from the 1980's on my brand new Sony A6400 mirrorless camera. Lenses for todays mirrorless cameras can cost thousands of pounds, here I show you that you can get stunning results with lenses costing less than forty pounds from places like ebay. In my opinion the first image ranks as one of the best landscape images I've taken this year, so what do you think? Fancy giving it a try? Please like the video if you do and subscribe to the channel if you haven't. Stay safe and see you next week!

My Five tips for Better Woodland Photography

My new video is now live on Youtube. This week I give you the five methods I use to improve my woodland photography as we head to the stunning Hamsterley Forest in County Durham. Give it a watch and head off to your local woodland and try it out. The trees are really showing some stunning colour at the minute but it won't be there for long!'As always p0lease give the video a like and for those who haven't subscribed consider subscribing to the channel. There is a new video out every week.

Lightweight Landscape Photography Kit (Lightening the Load!)

This weeks video is now live on Youtube. This week I go through the equipment I have chosen to allow me to travel extremely lightly with my camera gear. This was essential for my new series where I use the gravel bike to get to locations. However, I realise that this may also be useful for those who may be tired of lugging around tonnes of camera kit which can really take the joy out of the hobby. Let me know in the comments if you use any other lightweight kit that I or others would find useful. As always please give the video a like and subscribe to the channel.

Thanks Scott.

Photographing Wild Birds

This weeks Youtube video is now live. This week I start on a little bit of a journey to try and master bird photography. As a wildlife photographer for over fifteen years this is an area I have very much neglected and an area I am desperate to improve in. So for this first episode I look at my current kit and probably chase some tricky birds around! Please like, subscribe and share.👍

Wildlife Photography - Visiting a New Location

With the large amount of flooding affecting many of my normal wildlife photography sites I headed for higher ground to check out a new site. In this video I show you how I approach a new location and assess the wildlife on site and my methods for getting images over the coming months.
