The River Trent

The river trent on a misty morning

I really love this image. I was inspired by the work of Paul Sanders to have a go at long exposure landscape photography. For a long time now I have been convinced that there are good landscape images to be had within ten miles of my home but have always struggled. In deed if you look at most of the familiar images we see they are all taken in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales etc. My part of Nottinghamshire could be considered to be rather flat and boring in comparison but I hope this image has kick started my ambition to produce stunning landscape images of my own county which at present seem to be sadly lacking. Let me know what you think.
